Job Description: Cell/Molecular Biology Internship

Description:
The Cell/Molecular Biology Intern will assist the Liquidia Biology team with various tasks and projects. Primary responsibilities include:

Assist with design and execution of key experiments for analysis of nanoparticle therapeutic agents (e.g. intracellular localization of drugs by florescent and electron microscopy) |

Conduct in vitro and in vivo studies to analyze nanoparticle binding, uptake, internalization, and toxicity |
 |
Analyze and interpret data from in vitro and in vivo studies |
 |
Present results in team discussions and written technical reports |
Requirements:
 |
B.S. in cellular biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, pharmacology or related field |
 |
Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply |
 |
Academic or industry laboratory experience |
 |
Internship or full-time experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry (preferred) |
 |
Cell culture and microscopy experience |
 |
In vitro cell-based assay development, including cell binding and pharmacological assays |
 |
Experience with nucleic acid therapeutics including siRNA (preferred) |
 |
The successful candidate is a highly motivated team player with a commitment to quality and attention to detail, strong problem solving skills and good communication skills. |
