Job Description: Analytical Scientist
Liquidia Technologies Inc. is a privately-held nanotechnology company that designs, develops, and manufactures precisely engineered particles and films for a wide variety of life and materials science applications. Liquidia's proprietary PRINT™ platform is unique in its ability to replicate and produce nanoscale features with independent control of feature size, shape, and composition.
We are currently looking for an Analytical Scientist to play a critical role in advancing our micro- and nanoparticle design and analysis. Full-time positions are available.
Description:

Characterize the physical and chemical properties of nanoparticles and other materials produced with the PRINT platform using appropriate physical, chemical, and spectroscopic techniques |

Design, conduct, and interpret x-ray diffraction and thermal analytical methods (DSC, TGA) for material characterization |
 |
Work with core project teams to monitor and advance the use of analytical methods in related fields of expertise |
 |
Understand and comply with GMP principles as required |
 |
Provide analytical support and troubleshooting for nanoscale manufacturing processes |
 |
Design and execute scientific research experiments |
Requirements:
 |
Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry or related field and 1-5 years pharmaceutical, polymer, or related industry experience OR 1-5 years work experience post graduate degree in an academic setting |
 |
Significant experience with, X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, materials characterization, and techniques in materials sciences |
 |
Excellent communication and problem solving skills |
 |
Ability to work independently and as part of a team |
